Tomales Elementary School is one of five schools operated by the Shoreline Unified School District. The grade span at Tomales Elementary School is kindergarten through eighth grade. The school operates on a traditional school calendar.
There are approximately 190 students enrolled. The students are served by 12 regular classroom teachers and 1 Special Day class teacher. All teachers are certificated in the field in which they instruct. Three instructional assistants support the curriculum delivery. The core academic program follows the state standards.
Additional support staff provide special education services, counseling, music, computer instruction, library services, Spanish language instruction, multicultural music and dance, small group tutoring and after school homework support for some grade levels.
